We all come from different backgrounds with our own individual experience of the world and being human. We all have different parts that make us who we are. I will help you tap into the strengths and gifts you already possess (even if they’ve been buried for a while or you don’t know them very well) and become your own barometer, so that you can lean less on external inputs and instead feel confident in your ability to make the best decisions for yourself (and in your role as a parent-navigating the never-ending supply of tricky situations that will come up!). My job as a therapist is to really get into the nitty gritty with you and help you navigate finding this strong, sturdy self that we all have the capacity for.

With clients who are interested, I also incorporate elements of circadian biology into my therapeutic work to support both physical and mental health through connection with nature. Through some simple lifestyle changes/ intentional practices to align our bodies more with natural rhythms we can greatly support the balancing of hormones, production of key neurotransmitters to support mental health, as well as overall health and sense of wellness. Developing a strong circadian rhythym has proven particularly efficacious in supporting women struggling with infertility, which is what originally drove me to begin incorporating this approach in my therapeutic practice.

I draw upon several therapeutic approaches/ modalities in my work, primarily Internal Family Systems but also Polyvagal Theory, Family Systems Theory, and Narrative Therapy. I am also a certified Circadian Biology practitioner through the Institute of Applied Quantum Biology. My work around parenting is also greatly informed and enhanced by the amazing work of Dr. Becky and the team at Good Inside. If you have questions about these modalities please do not hesitate to ask.
